Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis is about the Caterham branch. We used to order 4 or 5 wraps from the Caterham or the Whyteleafe branches as those are the closest to us and it was alright nothing exceptional, and not so much value for money since the price hike, but acceptable for a quick meal. This last time, today, it was miserable. I would go there and complain if not for the fact that the kids were starving and it meant driving there and back again. Ordered online, 3 large wraps and one regular went to pick up the order and they had just received it , when it was a good 15 minutes after placing it; we waited in the store and then got the bag with the wraps didn 't think of looking into it, but what was our surprise when we got home and wanted to distribute the wraps and there was NO indication at all of what wrap was which! They were all different, but we had to cut into them to find out what they were! Zero thought into this. On top of that, 1 was clearly a large wrap, but the other 2 that should be large didn 't seem any bigger than the regular one, and that 's an extra pound for a large... Utterly disappointed with the service today...
This concerns the Caterham branch, a new branch which does not appear on Tripadvisor yet. Many comments apply to the company in general though. I 've been watching this shop for a while. The sign was painted Zabardast but that gave no clue as to whether it was a builder 's office, shoe shop, card shop or what. Last week I was passing and saw that there were tables outside suggesting that it was a cafe of some sort. I went in. I was told that it was an Indian Wrap company as an enthusiast of Indian food I asked for a takeaway menu but was told that they didn 't have any but I could look online or photograph their counter menu, which I did. At home I looked at the menu but was not clear about much at all. How big are the wraps snack, light meal or big meal? Are the salad bowls the plastic containers shown on the tripadvisor page is this another source of plastic litter (not to mention the chicken on the bone in the biryani more unsavoury litter to be thrown out of cars or dug out of bins by foxes). There is no explanation of what you get for Tikki, Tikka or Thali. I presume that you get one curry but do you get one or more salad or chutney? The whole menu is vague. We all know exactly what to expect from fast food pizza,, Chinese, Indian, Kebab and the rest but this is new and no hints are given. Photographs of the actual items would be really helpful, as would a bit more explanation. In spite of my reservations I decided to give it a try last night at about 6pm. I walked in and there was a customer giving an order. He was told it would be ready in 10 15 minutes. The (only) member of staff went through the back for a few minutes then came back to take my order. I asked how long it would take and he told me that he was making a deliveroo order and it would be 'some time '. As I wanted to clarify what I would get I realised that I would slow down the whole process even more and declined, went to the Indian next door, placed my order and was on my way home 14 minutes later.
Ok but the filling could have warmed more then it was- good thing it was paneer and falafel and not meat . I wont be choosing a meat filling in the future. A little pricey for what you get
Nice tasty crispy wraps with adequate portion of chicken, vegetarian potato stuffing and a variety of salad with delicious sauces but expensive. Good service and the restaurant is clean.
Tasty wraps and good service but £10 for a chicken wrap and a bottle of drink is quite pricy. Yum though, I’d recommend the Chicken Tikka with the signature sauce!
