Wagon Wheel - Cuba

Charming Route 66 motel, beautifully renovated with many original features. The rooms are clean, though a bit small. It's conveniently located near the city of Cuba. There are lovely shared outdoor spaces that encourage interaction with other guests.

Very comfortable. a small shower for some people who are not small, but it was really nice. the bed is really comfortable. love as it is mixed when the past meets modern.

The office was closed when we checked on Friday at 17 o'clock in a check, so we did not visit the load, but it looked fun through the windows and we would probably have bought something. the check-in was done by the number on the door and talk to the owner to confirm the reservation. the door was under the matte in the room. surprisingly for a Friday night beginning juli, the motel did not seem to be occupied more than 25%. the room of the queen

The most rude and common owner of a company I ever had to do with. her website is in my opinion fraudulent. they need to add a credit card to even ask for availability. I've put my information and waited a few days and connie never called me. I called her and she said rudely that I should have waited three days to contact her and that she would call me in that night. 5 days later I called and she said she had my reservation, but I had booked somewhere else because I hadn't heard of her. she said she wouldn't pay my money back. I told her I would deny the appeal and that she was committed. she said she would refund everything, but $25. she cursed me and gave me every apology in the book why they have these problems. she said she was glad I didn't stay there. please read reviews before booking with this location. I would never give our hard earned money for such rude hostess. Forbearance!

Room was 85 degrees and we had ants. Now the ants were fixed quickly with a bottle of raid. The AC we were told was blowing cold air so there was nothing to do. When we talked to the owner again in the morning she said we should of called, her grandson who brought the raid should have advised us to do that. Well he is the one that said it was blowing cold air so nothing could be done. And we paid A LOT for what this room was!! To stay in the historic Rt 66 motel was the best part. And the neon lights were nice to look at too. Our friends that had a different room did not have these issues and enjoyed their stay.
