With its cozy interior, incredibly friendly staff, and delightful aromas wafting through the air as you approach, this place is a perfect choice for chicken lovers. My group tried the spicy chicken strips and the classic fried chicken on the bone, and everything was fantastic. The fried chicken had a deliciously spicy sauce that added a lot of flavor without being overwhelming. The fries were fresh, crispy, and lightly seasoned, and the biscuit was the standout item on the menu. Picture the perfect biscuit: a warm, crispy exterior that gives way to a soft, buttery interior, flaky and fragrant, all drizzled with honey—that’s exactly what you’ll find here. I would definitely come back for more, without a doubt! 10/10.
Delicious, crispy, tender, and juicy chicken! Living up to its reputation, Honey's Kettle Fried Chicken serves some of the best fried chicken I've ever had (it could be even better with a touch of black pepper spice added to the coating). Drizzling their sweet and spicy secret sauce (which comes in a bottle, so you can take some home!) creates the perfect combination! The buttermilk biscuit is flavorful and moist, while the blueberry biscuit is wonderfully sweet! The coleslaw and fries are a delightful addition too. Their homemade blueberry mint lemonade is refreshing and hits the spot! And I can't forget to mention the show-stopping peach pie — it’s simply the best!
I was really disappointed with my visit. It was my first time trying this place out since I've heard so many great things about it. I ordered two pieces of chicken, a biscuit, sweet potato fries, and a lemonade. Unfortunately, the lemonade turned out to be the best part of the meal. The sweet potato fries were soft and lacked crunch, the biscuit was dry, and the chicken was fried too hard and didn’t taste fresh. Given all the positive reviews I’ve seen, I must have picked a bad day to visit. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning; there are other local restaurants where I can spend my money more wisely.
I was really looking forward to visiting this place on my visit. But shame on me. Because the chicken was not worth the trip from Valley (to be honest) OR the rude worker that was mad because SHE MADE THE WRONG DRINK AND KEPT ASKING IF WE WANTED THE MANGER ???? Thank goodness they had a gravy that?s seasoned to pair with it, because if not it would?ve just been an overpriced-unseasoned meal. The blue berry pancake- that wasn?t even good. The fries with veggies those wereactually good! This was a one and done place for sure.
This place serves the best fried chicken sandwich north of Slauson Avenue. The chicken sandwich meal comes with a side of steak fries and a drink. I opted for the lemonade, which was a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. I also tried the sautéed spinach and veggie dish, which I absolutely loved. The fries were hot and tasty, and I didn't even need ketchup. I'm excited to go back and sample more items from the menu, which offers a wide variety of options. Since the chicken is their specialty, it’s clear why they focus on that. The restaurant is situated in the trendy area of Culver City, with public parking available just around the corner. I visited around 4 PM on a Saturday, and most customers had pre-ordered, picking up their food to-go. My meal was ready within 30 minutes, so I didn't have to pay for parking. Overall, a great experience!
