Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI recently visited Shengkee bakery, which was my first time visiting and will be my last time here. I'm disappointed to report an unfortunate incident that occurred during my visit. As a person with a service dog, I rely on my loyal companion for assistance with my daily activities. However, upon entering the bakery, the business owner denied me entry with my service dog, despite it being illegal to do so.It's disheartening to encounter such discrimination and disregard for the rights of individuals with disabilities. Service dogs play a crucial role in providing assistance and support, and denying their entry not only violates the federal law but also perpetuates a climate of exclusion and inequality.I would like to remind the management of this bakery shop that under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), businesses are required to grant access to individuals with service dogs. This law exists to protect the rights of people with disabilities and ensure equal access to public places.I hope that this incident serves as an opportunity for the business owner and staff to educate themselves about the rights of individuals with service dogs and the importance of inclusivity. It is my sincere hope that they take the necessary steps to rectify this situation, such as providing proper training to their employees regarding ADA regulations.I encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to report it to the appropriate authorities, such as the local disability rights organization or the Department of Justice. It's essential to hold businesses accountable for their actions and work towards creating a more inclusive and accepting society.
Delicious Cantonese style pastries,I love the beef and chicken meat Curry pastries its tasty and savory,I like their miniature custard pies call Dan tart n Cantonese original a Portuguese pastry from Portuguese Colonial rule of 400 years in Macau also they jave red bean pastries, ham sandwiches made in Japanese style from sliced bread without the brown edges.
Love this place. My friends love what I bring back, so I'll be taking orders next time I go there.
They sell old cake. I got a slice of the mango mousse. The sponge cake layer was dry and hard. The mousse layer was dried and had the texture of gelatinous paste instead of soft and creamy like you expect from a mousse.I also got the corn/ham bun and bbq pork bun. Corn/ham bun was alright. The filling of the bbq pork bun was tasty but a little on the mushy side. It also had a pineapple crust which I didn’t like because it was soft instead of crunchy.
They have the best custard everything. I particularly like the custard filled pastries and custard loaf. Scores of other really good baked goods. You should definitely go here.
