Beautiful pub next to a weinberg. great food, my lamb was beautiful! my buddy loved her escape. one of the best pubs for eating I had. great service with a smile and a friendly local amount. only on the bottom was a couple with a full house:

I absolutely adore the atmosphere of this restaurant and was thrilled to bring a friend who is new to the area. I keep up with their various menus on social media and am aware that the chef utilizes seasonal produce. Unfortunately, the service was slow and inefficient, and there were limited options for vegetarians. However, the food itself was heavenly. The portions are also perfect for those looking to maintain a healthy waistline.

We used to live around Frithsden over 10 years ago and this was our favourite pub. We recently visited for my wife's birthday and were not disappointed. The ambiance, friendliness and quality of the food haven't changed and that's a very good thing. There's a focused menu which must make it easier to ensure quality. My only criticism is that first choice of dish was not quite ready yet so I had to choose an alternative. Disappointing that the chef hadn't quite got things ready for the start of lunch service, but the fall back choice was still excellent. There were 3 or 4 choices of ale on tap and a good selection of wine. Desserts sounded nice but unfortunately neither of us had room! We will definitely revisit!

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are incredible, and the staff is very professional.
