I am simply amazed with the weird menu and its incredible flavor. Everything was fresh no corners cut. Service was beyond my expectations. Ask question before ordering, everything is made a little different. Portions are great and you will love the beer selection and price. The place is what you expect from a Texas place. I absolutely love this place!I sub the chicken for a medium rare tuna steak on my Ceasar salad, and it was delicious.Highly recommend this place.Oh, and Pete always has a funny joke and sweet compliments.

This was great food. I actually had a take out. I love fried fish and fried mushrooms. I ate so many mushrooms that I didn’t have room in my tummy for the fish. I put it aside until the next day. It still tasted fresh cook.I procrastinated for a whole year about going here to try the food. I wish I had gone earlier. No matter thought. It’s great food. I’ll try in restaurant soon.

A Dallas staple for 20 plus years. If you give this place less than 5 stars you should have your privileges revoked. If this place wasn't in Deep Ellum it would be packed every night.Food is all quality here and the bar is very extensive. Pictured is the Chicken Fried Tuna Steak sandwich. If you like tuna, you're gonna fall out of your chair after you taste this thing. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. And it's huge too!The atmosphere is so on point here as well. It has all the feels you want in a down home, relaxed restaurant/bar. So casual and always friendly.Don't let this place fade away Dallas! Stop in and give it the love it's given us for decades!
