Jake's Place - Darien

We went to Jake’s Place for lunch and it was great! Our waiter was super nice and the food came out quickly. I got a burger and fries and it was solid. My wife got the Italian sandwich and it was huge and delicious. The prices were good, especially for a place in Darien. The breakfast does close at 11:30am each day. We will definitely be coming back here again.

Stopped in at 6:30am for breakfast. The food is delicious and the owner Jake is a great guy, he sat and talked with me for a little while while he took my order. The atmosphere was welcoming, both people sitting eating and people grabbing a bite to go on the way to work. Would highly recommend this place!

I called and questioned about pricing on sandwiches and was told to “get it together” and what seemed to be the manager was “too busy to talk to me”. I believe if you run a business and there’s the opportunity to make more business, you shouldn’t rush customers off the phone non the less, speak to customers like that. Not only that, the pricing was outrageous. Very disappointing since I’ve been a customer most of my life living in Darien as well as my parents and their parents that have gone to this location for decades. Not anymore!!!

Great breakfast with super fast service,great prices and very easy on and off Rt 95 south!
