Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónBombay Peggy's is certainly a contender for the title of best bar in Dawson City. Situated in a fully restored Klondike brothel, it's equally cozy and authentic with a great selection of spirits, martinis and various mixed drinks (though if you're looking for a round of beers, you might be better off elsewhere). They've got a bunch of unique cocktails and even a few homemade chips-and-dip options that will satisfy anyone! No bar service and reduced hours at the moment, and it can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so it's probably best to call ahead to confirm reservations and COVID protocols before heading over.
The bar is downright hostile and unfriendly towards people who aren't locals. I was so uncomfortable, it was hard to stay long enough to finish my beer.
Bombay Peggy 's was a real gem that we stumbled upon all the way up north in Dawson! The rooms are very spacious and come with all the amenities. The decor is very quaint and a definite nod towards the olden days of the Gold-Rush. The staff seemed friendly and the beds were very comfortable and all the rooms have interesting names (considering it is a no longer functioning brothel...! It is rather centrally located to Dawson City (but everything is considering the city is only a few blocks long , and you can walk to anywhere in only 15minutes or so. The morning croissants were a treat as Bombay Peggy 's has no restaurant for breakfast, although it has a pub. (The El Dorado is good for breakfast just over the road The only downside of our room is that it was directly located above the pub so the noise from downstairs could be quite loud well up until 2am (when the pub closes, as it is light in summer until very late . Other than that slight issue, everything was absolutely perfect and I couldn 't have wished for anything better during our stay in Dawson!
I stayed at Bombay Peggy's in Dawson City a couple of years ago. I loved this place! A historical brothel that has been converted into a hotel. The rooms were lovely and the house has been restored wonderfully and the staff were very nice. The history alone makes it worth the visit!
If you stay in Dawson City, I can't recommend this place anymore. The attention to the detail of the owners and employees is excellent. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. There were fresh hot croissants at our door with coffee in the salon in the morning and sherry or port with cheesecake in the salon in the night. Anyone who works here was friendly and friendly and attached to the bar is very comfortable. The bar itself also has great drinks and atmosphere. If I ever find myself here, I'll book at Bombay Peggy right away.
