Hunan Gardens - Delray Beach

Stopped in for lunch today. Haven't been in in a while and was pleasantly surprised. The hot and sour soup was excellent. Lunch specials, eggplant as well as chicken dishes were very good. Will definitely come back.

It used to be my favorite Chinese in Delray. Now it is just horrible. The food has gone way down hill as has the service. Portions have also shrunk and they are mistake prone. The owners stand around and do nothing to solve your issues when you complain to them. The female owner is just plain nasty. I would avoid this place at all costs. It seems as they are biding their time until they close. If they don't change they will close as their reputation from the past will only last so long. AVOID!

I have gone to a great number of Chinese restaurants in my lifetime. I always order the same thing beef with oyster sauce, broccoli and onion. The waiter said there will be three dollar up charge for the onions. I said what I never heard of such a thing then he said to me, you should've brought your own onion in and then I said maybe I should have We will also rushed through our mail bags to take home our lunch without even asking for him yet I recommend this place to anybody else. My answer would be NO Also the food portions were extremely small and they don't even offer you ice cream after your mail. Don't get my vote.

Past 3 deliveries have been disappointing.... This was the worst Chinese chicken wraps flavorless. No scallions. Only chicken and some carrots. Broken and wilted lettuce. Asked for brown sauce and got white sauce. Going in garbage. Called to complain and did not offer a refund but asked if I wanted them to deliver a container of brown sauce. Took over 90 minutes for first delivery. Pointless and meaningless offer

Lots of menus, the four of us ordered from the combination menu. We started with a soup and ended with a scoop of ice cream. Each combo meal came with fried rice and an egg roll. Service was so quick that we were finished with dinner in a half an hour. There was so much food that each of us brought half of our meals home, unfortunately they used Styrofoam containers this time.
