The Exeter Arms - Derby

I went to The Exeter Arms on Wednesday evening, and I was blown away. From the moment I walked in, the lady behind the bar was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. She was also very friendly and clearly enjoys working at such a great pub. My food was brought to me by who I assume is the manager, and the service was outstanding. He made sure we had everything we needed, and even went out of his way to bring another bottle of wine to our table while we were eating. It's the little things like this that make me appreciate a pub. The food was amazing overall, and the service made it even better. I regret not getting the names of the two staff members so they can receive the recognition they deserve. They truly are an asset to the business. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will definitely be coming back.

I visited this restaurant for the first time in December and had a wonderful experience. On my return visit, I once again enjoyed the great beer, delicious food, and excellent service from the team. I am excited for my next visit to Derby, knowing that it will be just as great. A big thank you to Connor and the entire team.

First time visiting this little pub and it won't be the last. The occasion was a family gathering, just my mum, dad and us grown up siblings (7 of us). We preordered, and the food arrived promptly 15 minutes after our arrival. I had the smokey pork hotpot and it was delicious! The pub has a lovely atmosphere. There were no complaints, every one thoroughly enjoyed their meals and I certainly look forward to going back again soon to sample another dish from the menu!

I booked the Exeter Arms for a Christmas friends get together and what an excellent choice. The first thing to notice was we got a very warm welcome, all the staff there are friendly and chatty. We ordered our food which arrived in a normal amount of time especially as it was near Christmas and busy. The food was fabulous. We will definately go back again.
