The Whale's Tail - Destin

We were in need of food and exhausted as we had just arrived in the city. I ordered without expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by the prompt service.

The restaurant itself is spacious with a great view, and the service was excellent when we arrived for breakfast. Overall, it has a cozy diner feel and offers a variety of egg dishes and omelets.

My friend and I visited Seascape for Moon Crush and dined at the restaurant one day before the concerts started. The food was very average. I ordered the blackened dish.

When we arrived, we couldn't tell if the place was open or not. the service was good, and the waitress was sweet. our order was within 5 minutes or order. I ordered the French Toast breakfast with grumbling and had to send the French toast back because it was still raw. the gries were absolutely terrible, could not add enough salt to save it. we also have the shrimp and the garnel were microscopic. would not return. I would recommend a waffel house above this place.

This is always our first stop when we visit the beach. Their chicken quesadillas are fantastic. The prices are reasonable, and the view of the beach from the veranda is amazing!
