We were lucky to discover this family café during our recent road trip. The food was fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. My husband claimed the chicken strips were the best he had ever tasted! I enjoyed a grilled ham and cheese sandwich on homemade sourdough, served with hand-cut steak fries, which was fantastic as well. We couldn’t resist adding some of their homemade strawberry rhubarb jam and a glass of lemonade to elevate the flavors of the chicken strips and burgers. The customer service was warm and welcoming. To top it all off, we enjoyed our meals in a charming old schoolhouse.
The best steak I've ever had! Cooked to perfection, with the right cut and incredible flavor. It was definitely worth skipping other places and waiting to reach the old school house. The cobbler is fantastic too! Everything about the ambiance, the service—just everything—was excellent.
I travel frequently for work, often driving 7 to 10 hours to reach my destinations (not as a truck driver). During one of my trips, I stopped for gas and was pleasantly surprised by the charm of this quiet little town. The café welcomed me warmly, even though I only had three dollars to spend. I enjoyed a cup of coffee while chatting with the friendly cowboy who made sure to join me—an experience you simply can't find anywhere else. After receiving a complimentary donut, I felt completely spoiled. I will definitely return, and I highly recommend that everyone visit this delightful spot.

This charming cafe offers a delightful selection of baked goods and breakfast pastries. Housed in an adorable old schoolhouse, the cafe features a wide array of delicious treats and custom Italian drinks. You'll find a stunning display of pies and breads, and the dining room has a nostalgic schoolhouse vibe, complete with the menu written on a large chalkboard. The only drawback is that it's closed from Monday to Wednesday and doesn’t serve dinner. However, if you're passing through Thursday to Sunday morning, this cafe is definitely worth a visit—and a photo opportunity!
