The food The primo pasta was great. The catch of the day was good, many fish to choice from. It was simply grilled but had good taste. My partner had the squid, which came in a huge portion on a huge plate. Better serve that smaller, such huge plates drives the appetite a bit away. And maybe offer a different taste and texture next to the kilo’s of the same squid. The place staff Maybe because it was a quit day, the place felt a bit empty and run down. Located at a boring street for cars with the terras in front of the parked cars, it does not have the best atmosphere. The staff was pretty oke, and mastered English. Athough sometimes, they were not really present. Maybe distracted by their mobile phones or boredom by the abcence of other guests. The talkinfg fish on the wall is a classic.

We made a mistake to go here as we were searching for the other Il Pescatore restaurant. So glad we chose this place as mixed grilled seafood included 3 prawns, 1 tuna, 3 squids, 1 large cray fish, small white fish. You could split this with two people. The side dish is also reasonably priced. My boyfriend had seafood ravioli, also excellent. The service was good. Don’t fool yourself just because it’s not by the water. Food is much better priced here.
