John Dory's Klerksdorp - Doringkruin

The Food (Sushi) and waiting period were exceptionally sub-par. We ordered telephonically and were told the order would take 40min. We arrived an hour after calling and still waited another 20min. to receive our order. The rice on the sushi was hard, and the portions were on average 1cm thin and falling apart. This after offering the restaurant the benefit of the doubt multiple times. Definitely room for improvement.

The waiter was not friendly en seemed confused until manager nkosi had 2 man up for our food 2 come out . . .

Our waitress was excellent!! She was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. We went on a Sunday afternoon and sat outside so the weather and atmosphere was also perfect. LOVED IT

Before the upgrade the experience was not good. With the upgrade the experience was excellent. Warm and welcome atmosphere. Only comment is on the malva milktart pudding. The combination does not work well. Rather serve it seperately.
