Terrible service. Ridiculous concept and business plan. No surprise that ot failed.

The pizza and ice cream here are very good, and as a long-time (20 year) vegan who lives in a small town in Michigan, I really want to see this place succeed...but the service and general logistics leave something to be desired, and the ice cream is so expensive that I doubt there are many repeat customers who aren 't specifically coming in for the novelty of non-dairy soft serve. We first visited maybe 6 weeks ago and had a nice chat with the owners, and while the service was awkward and the ordering/seating system rather confusing, we chalked it up to them having recently opened and figured they were still working out the kinks. When we visited today, we got there when they opened at 3pm (Sunday). We 'd driven over an hour specifically to come and eat there, but were informed that the pizza oven wasn 't warm and wouldn 't be ready for at least an hour. If the main food product you sell is pizza, wouldn 't you maybe consider coming in an hour earlier to have things ready to go, rather than expecting customers to wait an EXTRA hour because you didn 't think ahead? It boggles the mind, but the service is so flaky and absent-minded that we just had to chuckle and go home hungry after finishing our small $10-12 cups of ice cream (which was delicious, by the way). I really want this place to stay open but if they can 't figure out what they 're doing and deliver a consistent product for the TWO main things they sell, I 'm not sure how much repeat business they 'll get from the locals. They also have a messy-looking home office of sorts on a dining table right in the middle of the restaurant where you pay, which looks really unprofessional. Come on Stonewall, you 've got great stuff, so please get organized and get some more help if you need it!

As a long-time Kalico Kitchen customer who looked forward to our visits there (imperfect as it was , I was pleased to see Stonewall Corner now open for business. Walked-in today, met the new owners (delightful folks! and liked what I saw!! No, it isn't the Kalico, but go check it out, embrace the changes be a part of helping them grow it into an eclectic new addition to the community...

Loved loved loved, can't believe it's vegan!!! DELICIOUS!!!!! Great pizza, Yummy soup and wonderful bread, the owners are super nice

Wow. i was surprised for being vegan the taste was amazing! we had ice cream in the after noon and then came back for pizza! the crust of the pizza was delicious and the ice cream was very tasty.
