Carnivore The Queen - Downers Grove

Excellent place, such a warm ambience. The place and the staff, our waitress Bella has done a fantastic job that explains the specialties and dinner menu. We stopped without knowing we needed a reservation. The host at the entrance has accommodated us immediately, reservations are recommended. My husband and I really enjoyed the **** Mary and craft beer, the burgers are phenomenal. We also had the shrimp appetizer and it was so good. Keep the great service and food.

This is an amazing jewel hidden in the suburbs! We only had the most amazing Thanksgiving dinner here, everything was absolutely perfect. The decor is so elegant, I felt like I was back in a dinner club in Manhattan! They use all local ingredients and spirits, and I was very pleasantly surprised with the pricing. Turkey was juicy and perfect, amazing sweet potatoes, loved the Queens wedge salad with the house garlic dressing, fluffy potatoes, and fantastic tres leches cake! Everyone who works there was super sweet and polite. I can't expect to go back!

I had a great time here in Carnivore The Queen. Everything from customer service, ambience, food and drinks was great. I recommend this restaurant for families, date night, girl night outside, or even some time alone. Absolutely worth the experience! I'll be back soon. Thank you!

We had the signature 5 course meal. Everything was very good. Not the absolutely best meal I had, but more than satisfied. The deserts were incredible. We had the Key Lime Pie and curseless chocolate cake. We will definitely return!

We ate outside but the dining room indoors is so cozy with dark walls and thick curtains separating the booths, we will try that next time. It'll be wonderful atmosphere in the fall and winter. The food was amazing and the drinks were so perfect... not too weak... not too strong. Lots of happy hour specials from 3-5. The bread boule side was delicious and crusty, we loved the shrimp and spinache alfredo the walleye was amazing. The portions are generous so we have leftovers for another delicious meal. Finished with the pumpkin cheesecake. Yum! We'll definitely be back to try more!
