Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónPaneer curry is great. Good naan bread and rice. Meal deals are good value and delivery is prompt. Overall good
Naan was like chewing gum. Definitely not made that day. Onion bhaji was burn on the outside, raw on the inside. Tikka masala meat was hard and chewy. Won't be ordering from here again. Just spent 30 minutes in the toilet puking up my insides. Save yourselves people, order from anywhere else.
Delicious traditional Indian cuisine with generous portions. Stay away from desserts as they are all frozen from 3rd party. warm welcome
We have used Indian Gate as our number one Indian takeaway for a few years. In recent months it has deteriorated dreadfully both in food quality and service. It is rare to receive an order that is completely right. Most of the time I don't even complain because we are already at the dinner table when we realise. Last night was the final straw. I told my husband to check the order throughly upon collection but when we opened it at home unfortunately one item was mislabelled and he couldn't have known it was incorrect. I rang India Gate to inform them and disappointingly I did not get the reaction I expected. I was treated as if I was lying. Eventually she offered credit which was useless as my poor husband had no dinner. In the end a new dish was delivered upon the understanding that I returned the incorrect meal. I was told this was required because apparently she just couldn't believe what I said to be true. As much as the constant mistakes with orders frustrates me, the implication that I lied in order to get a complimentary dish was highly insulting and we will not return. Customer service is key and it is sadly lacking in India Gate these days.
This place used to do a fabulous take away. After a few poor experiences I stopped ordering from here 2 years ago. More the fool me I said I’d give them another whirl. Arrived quickly which was great, but the food was so disappointing. The naan bread managed to be greasy and burnt at the same time, with black gritty bits on it. The chicken Dopiaza was like Bolognese sauce, a bad one. Such a pity places get away with selling such muck. If you were a date ‘Indian gate’ I’d leave you standing under Clearys clock.
