The coffee is great and the staff is kind and helpful. One batista explained that their lavender syrup is made in house and that is probably why their honey lavender latte tastes a bit better than most coffee spots. Bonus points for a great waffle
On a tip from Melanie, at the Durango Downtown Ambassador kiosk, we visited Hermosa Cafe for a coffee snack. The food options in the cooler were pretty well picked through so we went with a Roasted Veggie sandwich. Coffee’s were tasty, and certainly on the stronger side. Staff was friendly. The neighboring shop had live music playing outside and he was AWESOME; very mellow and talented. It was the cherry on top of our morning here in Durango. Sadly, we are posting a one star deduction as the staff somehow forgot to make our sandwich and after 20 minutes we went in to check on it. About 10 minutes later it came out. We weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t a big deal. All in all good visit.
Loved this place! Great coffee, fresh very tasty quiche cinny rolls. Lots of seating clean bathroom. Also, the service was amazing which is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend checking this place out!
I love this place coming from a standpoint of being a barista for Starbucks. I was floored by how warming, welcoming and beautiful this cafe is. Love the decor little bathroom humor! Lol and the matcha green tea actually tastes healthy. Not a load of sugar like Starbucks. . I love this cafe
I love this place so much, my favorite place in town. Such a great place to come and relax for a few hours and hang out with friends. The coffee and baked goods are so good, and they have a great bar. Highly recommend this spot if you are near Durango!
