Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWaiters were very stressful to be around. they did not seem very coordinated or confident. we were asked to eat our food approx. 3 minutes after sitting before we had a chance or got a drink menu. the food tasted really good. but there was not enough of it. I have a kartoffel on my teller. another person was gluten-free. they took the yorkshire pudding and cheese broccoli away and replaced them with nothing. So her meal was even smaller than mine. this place has a lot of potential, but just falls short.
Ordered Sunday Roast Beef x3 . Very disappointing couldn't cut the beef as too tough, the broccoli was in edible as it was crunchy and burnt with a dried up cheese coating. The Yorkshire's tasted of cooking fat. We left the place feeing hungry and out of pocket. They ask how your meal is half way through and proceed to walk away awkwardly when you state your not happy. Why ask? It was empty in there, with such beautiful decore its a real shame the food service let the place down.
A Sunday dinner with a twist. Very tasty and nicely presented. Would have appreciated the price being written on the menu. Also found website difficult to negotiate. Was not sure what sort of menu available on Sunday lunchtime.
We booked a Table for 2 on Monday, 29 August 2022 at 16:45. We arrived at 4:35pm, was promptly taken upstairs to a baron restaurant. The decoration is marvellous, and a beautiful setting. We were given a menu, and promptly ordered. This was done around 4:40pm. At 16:43, i got a message from Open Table whom i booked with saying my booking had been changed “ Table for 2 on Monday, 29 August 2022 at 17:00”. I thought nothing of this as we were sat chatting, enjoying our drinks and waiting on our starters. At 5:05pm, my wife asked the waiter where our food was (we were the only table dining . To be told, there was a booking error and they do not open until 5:00pm (might want to change the board outside stating food is served all day!!! . Also… you might want to give your patrons who have ordered s heads up too!! Still waiting for our food, we heard a clatter. I jokingly said “I bet thats our food”. A few minutes around 4:20, nearly 45 minutes after first arriving. The chef came out and said that was our starting going down the stairs… so at this point, I was done with Mr Fox. We up a left, this will be our last visit. When this place first opened and Paul Ohara was chef it was fabulous. Last couple times, its been like faulty towers. I don't think this restaurant will last much longer based in this and its service. I wish the owners well, hope they can turn it around but we will nit be back.
Very limited menu mainly sandwiches. Completely different from online menu. We didn’t stay.
