Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI have been meaning to review La Pasadita because it was such a nice experience. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were a few parties eating at a couple of the tables. I was greeted by a magnanimous woman who I think is the owner which was nice. I walked up to the counter and the young lady who may be related to the woman who greeted me was very friendly and happy to describe all of the wonderful looking pastries. They had conchas, alfajores, “Guatemalan cornbread muffins”, “Guatemalan French bread”, and other pastries and cookies. I was excited by the vast selection and ordered the alfajores, muffins, French bread, as well as the tres leches cake I originally visited for and Guatemalan tamales that another patron had recommended wholeheartedly. Everything I ate was delicious, my favorites were the tres leches cake and the tamales. The tres leches cake was moist and not overly sweet and the tamales were delicious with a bit of a kick and moist masa that housed the flavorful meat fillings. La Pasadita is the kind of place I enjoy visiting because of the hospitality and finding flavors that can be difficult to find. I plan to visit again soon!
A wonderful little place with excellent conchas, flan, and other baked goods (ojo de pancha is my new fave)! The people who run the bakery are so friendly, too. The perfect place for a weekend treat!
LOVE their pastries. They’re amazing but the down side of this place is their inconsistency of opening. They haven’t been opening on Saturdays lately (based on the multiple times I’ve stopped by). Stopped by today to see if they were open and they weren’t. They also changed their hours.
Best tamales in town, and the service is great if they're open. For some reason their business schedule changes every week.
I love this place!! They had freshly prepared delicious cakes and coffee.
