One major disappointment for me was the steak. For the second time in as many months, the meat was overcooked to the point where it resembled a paste or pate rather than a properly chopped or sliced beef. I had to add salt and pepper at the table to salvage the flavor. Although the broth in my onion soup was tasty, the cheese on top was not browned as requested, leading me to send it back twice before it was prepared correctly. While the duck confit was flavorful, it was more shredded duck meat rather than a traditional duck leg. Despite the restaurant's beautiful ambiance and attentive service, they need to pay closer attention to these types of details to ensure a satisfying dining experience.
The experience was fantastic! The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and we loved the trendy atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.
Started the evening at the bar with happy hours, Tony the Maitre D served us some appetizers. All were delicious and the drinks were awesome. Supper at 19:00 I had le Coq au vin and my brother in law had the steak. The food and service were excellent, their was a jazz and blues band playing, people are dancing and enjoying the evening. Overall an evening of fine food, wine and music. Thank you to Tony's team.
I always feel like a Queen when I come to Thursday's Bistro. Thank you to all of the staff who always service us nicely and professional. Regards, Mireille Wahba
