Shanghai Dumpling - East Geelong

The dumplings here are really amazing! Our favourites are the pork and prawn dumplings in chilli oil and peanut sauce.

(begin rave review) I just had the perfect version of chilli beef in the entire worldThe best I have ever had.

The service was slow and the food took awhile to arrive. I felt that there was a bit of inconsistency as the table in front of us with a group of people was served before us although we had ordered before they walked in. The pork chop with the rice and egg had good flavour but would not even call this a pork chop as it was very thin; a pork loin maybe. The fried rice had a lot of ingredients which was tasty.

I come from Melbourne, and its the best Pho in Geelong. The Service is really good too, and they always ask how the food was at the end.However i wish they would give more lemon/lime- but thats just a weird side noteand free tea like they do in melbourne.

Ordered a 'LARGE' sliced beef noodle for $12 ( $10 for SMALL and there a display at the counter if you wonder what is the size of L & S) The broth is hot & delicious and the sliced beef is generous! They served cooked bean sprout instead of raw bean sprout. The pho also come with mint and sweet basil! Service is good :) definitely gonna visit this place again.
