Feast + Revel - East Greenwich

Our reservations were at 11:45 for Brunch on Sunday. My guest, who is not from Ottawa, had problems finding parking and was 20 minutes too late. The server came by to warn me that the kitchen closes at noon and that if my guest did not arrive soon, we would not be able to place an order. That was very stressful... If there is such a shutdown time to accept orders for breakfast, the last reservations at 11:30 am and not at 11:35 pm should be closed too close to the kitchen at 12:00. Eating was good, but it was stressful to find a place for brunch in downtown Ottawa is not easy without reservations. R

We had breakfast twice during our trip to Ottawa. Great value. Good portions.

Bad experience, has the $110 set menu for new years. felt rushed. They were understated. A bottle of wine was ordered and we were asked to serve ourselves. Foreword of this review with I have dined here several times in the past and was not disappointed. So when I booked, I thought I'd get a wonderful dinner for Christmas. Table for a Christmas day dinner and was in a corner of the kitchen. Asked to be moved, it was said that they were booked, despite the open table reservation not specified location. Starter Corse was delicious. The main part served the bait. I sent it back where the beef told me that the temperature would do so to keep it medium. I told them everything on the plate was lukewarm, including potatoes to sauce. They fired the new head that came at a much better temperature. Dessert was served without utensils. Granted, I still had my salad fork the only thing I could surpass that my server thought it was enough. But when I asked for a spoon, she said something about my fork. And when I asked if she would eat ice cream with a spoon, she understood (chocolate lava cake with a small vanilla ice cream scoop). So all in all no great experience, I still gave luck over the average, as the staff worked on Christmas day, which I am grateful but not received to the service.

We had such a lovely experience at Feast Revel for brunch. Highly recommend!
