Kings Head Pub

Working away from home and staying in a lovely guest house up the road and we decided to go for a pint. I saw other customers food being brought out and I couldn’t resist!!!! And I was the furthest from disappointed than a fat man who loves his food could be. The roast of the day Yorkshire wrap is beyond words and I will be returning when I’m over this way again and to top it off as this review is titled? The landlady and the staff are so welcoming I felt like I’d walked in to my local not a pub 200 miles away from home!! Thank you so much and I will be back.

Lovely evening with a great DJ. The family had a lovely time! We hope to have many good times here!!

Seen the ads so gave it a try. The approach from the car park to the pub was not welcoming. Kitchen door wide open and not a pretty picture. Place was almost empty ,maybe a good job as they still managed to get our orders wrong. Heaven knows how they cope when busy.Cutlery was all water marked. Food average . Wont be recomending to anyone I'm afraid.

This charming pub is dog-friendly with lovely staff. We enjoyed the 2 meals for £14 deal. The fish and chips were excellent and the sausage and mash came served in a large Yorkshire pudding with plenty of gravy. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!
