Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónAfter not visiting for a while, we ended up going to the restaurant three times in a few weeks. The first two times were with family and friends, and the third time was with a group of about twelve people who were mostly strangers to us. One great thing about this place is that it is very consistent. The menu is always full of options, and there are always daily specials to choose from. During our group meal, it was impressive to see a wide variety of dishes brought out at the same high quality, even though we didn't pre-order anything. The service was excellent - the staff were polite, friendly, helpful, and efficient. Overall, it was a great experience!
This restaurant never disappoints. The WING COMMANDER always raves about it when he passes through, and we always book a table at COACH HORSES. The food is superb, with generous portions and excellent service that makes us feel relaxed.
Visited for a standard roast lunch on a Sunday, one of us having beef and the other pork; one having a duck-leg samosa starter and the other a New York cheesecake desert (so hopefully a fair representation). Overall quality excellent (albeit beef preferred to the...pork); tables well spaced and service from a couple of young lads very good. Some contributors have bemoaned the lack of a warm welcome which is true as the proprietor is, shall we say, very reserved but if you don't take it personally you'll still enjoy your meal here! Reservations a good idea and I liked the fact that the table reservation signs showed the name in which the booking had been made.
In a party of The two steaks were awful mine uneatable it was so grisly. Other meals were good. Staff uninterested in resolving issue. On balance wouldn't return as I now know if there were any further issues that I'd just have to live...with it.
Great food. Proper home cooked food, service polite but friendly abd very reasonably priced. Would suggest booking to avoid disappointment
