Big Jim's Seafood House - East York

Crab soup is awesome. Hush puppies are very good too. Seafood is nicely done. I got the stuffed shrimp and it was fine, but came with a sauce. I would order without sauce next time. That is not typically something that is sauced. Service is sometimes a little touch and go as it seems they may have other responsibilities (like with the bar). All in all, will definitely return. We were there and the live music playing. It was certainly loud enough to listen to in the driveway behind the restaurant.

Ordered their 1/2 lb burger with no tomatoes or pickles and medium well done. Along with fries on the side. Burger had no cheese on it and they added pickles anyway. The outside of the burger was burnt while the inside was still raw. Poor fries were soggy and limp. They should probably stick to seafood. Also of note, the handicap parking has a sign but it’s ignored. Don’t expect them to be available.
