East Pointe Fish Chicken - Eastpointe

I visited this restaurant for the first time just two months after it opened. I ordered the #7, which includes 2 pieces of fish, 5 pieces of chicken, fries, and a soda. I was pleasantly surprised to find it also came with 2 slices of bread. I had the option to choose the type of fish and whether I wanted wing dings or whole chicken wings. The food is cooked fresh while you wait and has a delicious homemade taste. I brought one of my grandsons with me, and he loved the food! I definitely plan to come back.

I heard about this place last year (2021) and it quickly became one of my favorite fish markets—only my second favorite, so that says a lot! The food is excellent, and I've never had to wait long for any orders. I also love the location.

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I brought my husband along so he could experience the impressive selection of fish and shrimp available. I went for the fried lobster tail and five wing dings once more, while my husband opted for the fried shrimp and fried cod. The breading on everything is wonderfully crispy and full of flavor. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals!

Ordered 3 meals, requested two with okra, lemon pepper on all, ultimately received okra with only one, and no lemon pepon anything. The chicken was bland, the fish wasn't fried crisp. The fries were soggy, and they were stingy with sauce. Overall I'll never go back again. $60.00, wasted and the soda was flat..... STAY AWAY

Cleanliness is next to Godliness?unfortunately this place does practice cleanliness! I chose dine in the sitting area and asked that the table be cleaned. Worker came out with Windex to clean the table. WHAT?!!! I expressed that Windex is not a cleaning disinfectant. The worker came back with a rag and said it was dipped in soap and water?My Lord?Needless to say, I asked for a manager and guess what?NO Manager available. I made the conscience decision to ask for a refund as I WILL NOT eat at a place that does not practice cleanliness nor respect COVID protocols. It is a doggone shame that the urban community is disregarded and furthermore disrespected as if we don?t value or deserve service or an environment that is decent and in order. Dine at your own risk!!!!
