Kasbah Take Away - Edinburgh, City of

Not sure what all the arguments are about pizza. ...from an Indian takeaway. Have stayed round the corner for 20 years plus so I finally got to try out the Kasbah! Sorry for all you pizza fans , I ate Indian! And veggie!! A delicious mixed vegetable and mango curry with a really thick tasty Tarka Dhal and really excellent mushroom rice. Quantity? Easily enough for two people. Price; extremely low. Service; very friendly indeed. Will be back.

The woman who took our pizza order was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The pizza itself was below average, with the dough seeming stale. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I placed an order for food at 7:30pm on a Tuesday evening and was informed that it would be delivered in 40 minutes. However, when I called at 8:40pm, I was informed that it would take an additional 30 minutes as the driver was not working that day. This has occurred before and I have experienced consistently poor service due to understaffing, despite the food usually being of excellent quality.

Ordered Bombay aloo and a veggie Kashmiri. Both were completely tasteless. No seasoning whatsoever. I’ve ordered food from here many times but the standard has gone down. Won’t be going back!

Just awful! This is the place to go if you want food poisoning! After having a take-away pizza I have been up all night being sick. Will definitely steer clear of this place in the future!
