Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWow, has this place gone downhill since the change of ownership. Bring a ton of cash - 2 pieces of haddock (100 grams each) and a scant handful of fries = $22.00. Want lemon? One slice free. Want tartar? 2 packs of the cheapest possible. Good grief, I remember when it was reasonably priced and you got homemade sides. And homemade tartar.Stay away - save your money - stay away. Hopefully you can find a better place, Winstons, heck even McDonalds
To be honest we were a little disappointed with the fish, it was a bit tasteless but chips were great as were the GF onion rings and GF chicken fingers so a very happy daughter - all in all just average really but good valueRob
I have lived in Canada most of my life. My dad took me to Brit's for lunch. I had cod, chips and mushy peas. The portions were a good size, the price was decent. The flavour was good old English style fish and chips.
Having to follow a gluten free diet is very limiting at most eateries but NOT at Brits! Here you can order your fish and chips and onion rings all in gluten free batter. Top it off with a gluten free beer and you honestly feel like you've died and gone to heaven. There were plenty of parking spots, lots of places to sit and dine, and the service was fast and friendly. Nothing to not like here!
Visited here with my family and was treated to wonder gluten free fare. I had the deep fried pickles and the cod. the GF batter is crispy and tasty and the food is not too salty. The rest of my family had the regular fish and chips and they enjoyed it also. My only complaint is that the decor is a bit sad and dated. It could really use an update. Also not terribly child-friendly.
