Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe venue is spacious, with plenty of parking available nearby. We attended a performance by The Chicks, and it was an outstanding evening.
I’ve never been to the restaurant and have no desire to go. This isn’t a reflection on our excellent facility; rather, I use a walker or cane, and those steps are extremely difficult for me. However, the area surrounding the arena has plenty to offer in terms of sights and activities. The Loblaws in the Ice District is also a great spot.
If you happen to be one of the unfortunate ones who bought tickets too late or ended up with the cheaper options, be prepared for extremely cramped seating. There's hardly any elbow room, and legroom is nearly nonexistent, making it difficult for anyone to pass by. But the worst part is their new policy that prohibits re-entry to the venue, meaning you forfeit your ticket if you leave. So, if you forget your ID, phone, or anything else, you simply can't come back in. Smokers are also not allowed to re-enter, but do you really think they'll give up their tickets? No, which means that non-smokers who may be allergic to smoke are now stuck inside during the concert without a chance to step outside for fresh air. This policy seems to punish non-smokers far more than it deters smokers from smoking. It truly feels like they've created a "smoke discreetly" environment. On top of that, drinks are outrageously priced at $20 a can, with a total cost of $16.78 plus tax. Additionally, Rogers Place is no longer the official home arena for the Oilers.
I went to see Rod Stewart, and he was absolutely fantastic! It was wonderful to watch him perform; he kept the energy going the entire time. The seating was excellent as well. This was my first visit to Rogers Place, and I had a great experience!
This is a spacious venue for concerts and various arena events, featuring impressive architecture and design. It's in excellent condition, having been built in the mid-2010s. There is ample parking available in nearby garages. However, the acoustics leave something to be desired for musical performances. Additionally, there aren't nearly enough restrooms, and prices are on the higher side. While these issues are somewhat typical, I would still rate it 3 stars.
