Food was executed well for what it was. I'd go again.
I've tried going here 3 different times in the last couple of months and the service is awful. Walked in and saw 3 employees standing by the bar, asked if I should seat myself, of which I was told yes. Then, we sat outside for at least 5 minutes. There were no more than 6 other parties in the whole place. Ended up leaving. Will never try going there again.
We walked in as the kitchen was closing and these sweet ladies still took care of us. I ordered fish and chips. Maybe it was because I hadn't eaten since breakfast, or maybe it was because my blood sugar crashed half an hour earlier, but hot damn. By the third fish filet I had ditched my fork and knife and was just shoveling food into my face. The fish was crispy on the outside and moist, tender, and flakey inside. The fries were SO good. And both stayed crispy until I had eaten all of them no soggy fish or fries here. There was cole slaw and a pickle, but let's be real, they were just accessories on the plate. Fish and chips is where it's at y'all.
Slow weekend due to memorial day but plenty of Timberwolves fans there. My hubby had the McCoy burger and I had the pork tenderloin sandwich. Both very good. He had onion rings and I just kept with the chips. The chips were thick and amazing. Oh, how could I forget, we had an appetizer of battered mushrooms which were served hot and very good. Had a chipotle sauce on the side. Worth going back for.
