We shared it, but I didn't want to. The truffle fries were a must-try; they were unlike any others I've had before. I would definitely return to this restaurant, I'm already thinking about making the 2-hour drive again. I regret not taking any pictures!
During our road trip, we made a pit stop at this restaurant. Our group had a mix of breakfast and lunch orders. The restaurant was quite noisy, but the quality of the food was excellent and the service was quick. The hamburger portion was generous, while the French toast was a bit small in size but delicious. We especially enjoyed the chicken apple sausage.
I had a delicious breakfast at The Nook. The employees were very friendly and attentive. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from. I ordered the MVP omelette with house potatoes and it was delicious. The food was well-seasoned, not greasy, and fresh. The cold green tea latte was also good. Free parking was a bonus. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
If big is good, this is your spot for breakfast/brunch, where the platters are overflowing. Had a disappointing turkey scramble...just didn't taste fresh. Bread choices ordinary. Not fresh or sparkling. Old style, old school. Potatoes OK, and can choose fruit as a side; different bread options, but nothing Coffee not strong enough. Not the gourmet experience, but popular and busy and basic with large portions and good service.
My friend (who has been there before) and I came for breakfast. Many choices on the menu and observed very delicious plates..good sized portions also. The food was served to our liking, especially the French toast Good service, considering it was a Saturday morning. Would come back to try other offerings!
