Hoss's Steak Sea House - Erie

My family and I enjoy hoss’s. However, it is a pity that they no longer have the best steak on the menu. I'm talking about the burgundy steak! it was delicious. then they took away the hot dinner rolls. they serve hardened garlic broth. it would be easier to bake the dinner rolls and serve them where garlic brot needs butter, season, bake and then cut into individual portions. no young lady or man wants to be served on a date with garlic everyone knows what will happen when you do it. Yes, I'm afraid I'm talking about the gas line, not a pleasant thing to discuss. please return the rolls and the burgundy steak back. we look forward to our next visit. we get always friendly server and they work hard to earn the tips they get. thank you! great work!

The staff here are friendly. The thing i like most about this place is the atmosphere, its warm and cozy. The salad bar hasent changed much but personally i like that. If your a fan of tradition and you know what you want this place is a good choice. The menus are nice as well. Have been here many of times since i was a kid and never had a bad experience.

I'm a little biased because I've been coming here for about 20 years, but the wait staff is always nice and very responsive. They do a great job of keeping the salad bar clean and stocked, and the food on the menu is generally very good. Prices have recently increased so that the salad bar is about $9 by itself (which seems high to me), but that's my only real complaint.

We came in a little after 9pm anf even though it was close to closing time the young ladies were very friendly and inviting. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the steak and helped my husband decide on a steak. The food was delicious. Probably one of the best meals and service we've had in a long time. We are not from that area so it was wonderful to stop in an unfamiliar town and feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I haven't been here in quite some time. My son I went here for his b-day. I ordered the beef tips with peppers onions and buttered mushrooms as my side. It was very good. Cooked to order. My son got the House burger w/fries. He said it was delicious!! Overall great experience. I was surprised to see now they allow BYOB!!
