Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónSwanson is a gem. Superior food in a lovely enviroment. The staff are extremely accomodating. We had a booking on Valentines Day, which of course was a set menu. The menu was supberb but due to some extreme food allergies I was unable to have a couple of the dishes, the staff and the chef went out of their way to be accomodating and made our evening so special. 5 stars from me.
Moved into the area and hoping this would be my local but disappointed. Very sterile and the staff (the male manager in particular) are sour at best. The food is the only good thing but has worsened over the last few months. My 2 cents: scrap the african theme; install fixed barstools around the bar to create some warmth and atmosphere; get some turntables behind the bar and have bar tenders playing some tunes; get a better beer selection; change the management. I will be a regular if this is done!!!
The Swanson has a beautiful large dining room on level 1. It has very friendly staff, a great menu ( modern a la carte), and extensive wines menu. I was with a party of 10 and we all complimented the food. I had 3 courses as the food was so good. I had the cerviche swordfish, the fantastic Barramundi followed by a brulle. The Zucchini flowers, the pork and cider pie was also a feature on my table. The cowra lamb stood out. Together with good wines - what else can you wish for?
The restaurant upstairs above the pub offers a great fine dining experience. We got the 4 course menu. Deliciously crafted. The entree was served in a decent sized. The goat cheese is not strong sprinkled with sauce. Pork belly is yummy perfection. Finished with a refreshing desert. Service is excellent.
We found the service in this place really friendly. The food was equally good and the ambience was fantastic.
