Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe've been here twice now, both times for lunch and both times have been happy but not blown away by the food. Actually, the food itself isn't bad. The pizzas are large and filling and great for anyone who likes their pizza smothered in cheese. The service wasn't particularly fast although we were only one of three tables on both occasions we visited. We will probably go again because it is quite convenient but if there were somewhere better - and cheaper! - we'd be going there instead. I think it does well more because there really isn't much other choice in Esperaza than because it's a great place to eat. Of course, both our visits took place "out of season" (November and January) so maybe they were more switched on when the tourists are around too.
My wife and I visited this restaurant at lunchtime. We asked for the plat de jour. It was called gardien de taureau. I guess it takes its name for the Camargue where there are white horses and black bulls. It was very tasty and I ate all mine. My wife felt that there was too much beef and too few vegetables
Visited this restaurant with friends and struggled with the language between us we persevered and the result was laughter and lovely food well recommend this restaurant
We had pizza for lunch, couldn't make up our minds which to have so chose one spicy the other Nicoise and had half each. Lovely thin base. I asked for tea and in the French way they bring a pot of hot water and a teabag. Except the water was barely warm.
They make excellent pizza's here. All of the food is home cooked and the service very efficient. It isn't the prettiest of places, however I always use it when I am in the area and never had a bad meal.
