Mac Cheese awesome sweet potatoes. My curry chicken was ok I don't like Chicken breast used to chicken parts. Service over the phone could have been alot better. They need to update the menu online!!Food: 3/5

I had some food from this restaurant and it was great.Definitely recommend this place if you’re close to the Essex area.Can’t go wrong. I Ordered the baked chicken with cabbage and potato salad also a half n half.Everything was on point!!!??

Ordered the oxtail and red beans n rice through doordash last night. I don't like talking down on people but it was horrible. The food was cold ok fine I'll credit that one to doordash. The oxtail was tough and hard to even bite. The gravy just tasted like flour. Had to order McDonald's within 5 mins of the food being delivered due to it being essentially unedible. Def won't try again.

My food was delicious. I got the oxtail platter with beans rice , cabbage. Catfish platter with potato salad mac cheese. I'm mad I haven't ate here before despite my sister telling me it was on point. The food did not dissapoint. Rita is Amazimg and you can tell she puts her heart into her food. You have a returning customer with me!!!!!!

Food is usually good but not today...everything tasted old/reheated, cornbread was still cold and hard which tells me it was definitely old. Mac and cheese was dry and tasted old. Potato salad was definitely store brought as well.*I get you don't like being called out but the truth is the truth. And after reading the other comments, I see this is a trend.Either way best of luck to you and your business!
