Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant

The portobello burrito bowl is fully vegan without required substitutions. The chimichanga can be made vegan with substituting beans and taking off the cheese. Our server was knowledgeable of vegan requirements and was happy to accommodate substitutions.

The only vegan or veg option is the guacamole, the rice and beans are all made with chicken stock. They’re labeled at vegetarian on the menu but the server told me they use chicken. NOT vegetarian!

I called the restaurant to ask if they would accommodate vegan requests such as simply holding the cheese and after she checked with her manager she came back and said no! How can this restaurant be on happy cow! I asked her if there was anything on the menu that was vegan and she said no we don’t accommodate vegans at all she even checked with her manager. Please take it off! Do you not be able to accommodate a simple request like hold the cheese is not my idea of accommodating vegans or having vegan options!

The Pico de Gallo was EXCELLENT!! Great view of the river. Friendly service. Could make vegan substitutions no issues. Had a wonderful visit from a hummingbird well eating outside. The plants are beautiful here. They’re vegan

Happy Cow said plenty of vegetarian and vegan options which is completely wrong . There was one vegan option, and two vegetarian . The staff was very friendly but it’s definitely an overpriced tourist trap. The food was ok- not worth the price
