I am born and raised in Italy near Naples and I can tell that the pizza I tried here at Via Napoli is exactly like the one I usually eat back home. Congratulations guys!
A great addition to the area, with great vibes and great food! Also bonus hidden terrace in the back! We stayed for the second time in this Italian restaurant and the food was consistently delicious. Your menu ranges from standard pizza, pasta and appetizers that have been great choices so far! For the Antipasti (appearant) we had the Arancini (balls with Squid ink bread and truffle aioli), Calamari Fritti (deep-fried calamari), and Calamari Alla Griglia (drilled Calamari in Romesco sauce). Do not miss the Arancini, we have almost a second helping cause how delicious it was! For Mains (Pasta e Risotto Section) we had the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Tonnarelli Pescatore. Both were solid elections and look small, but very filled and worth the value. For Pizze Rosse we ordered the Pizza Oro and the Pepperoni. Very generous amounts of paprika and toppings. For Pizze Bianche we ordered the Tartufo. The Tartufo became one of the favorites of the table! They cook the pizza over their wood stove and see them personally. The attention from the cook is great to watch! The service was great with staff who constantly check for water, service and food. You accept cash or credit cards. The music is a tad loud for the number of people, but the whole mood and the staff are overly friendly. The bar area and dining area are very clean and organized. The bathroom is located at the rear near the terrace/bar. Note that the restaurant has parking spaces in the back and enter the Cordova Avenue page (after the convenience store). Overall, friends and family would recommend to visit again for the delicious dishes!
First time visiting based on the reviews of the pizza and found everything else on the menu to be just as tasty. Highly recommend! Our server Stephanie was on point with all her menu suggestions and made the dining experience such a pleasure. Will definitely go back!
I was looking for a new pizza place to try in Etobicoke and decided to try Via Napoli as it is pretty close and has good reviews. I purchased two pizzas, two pastas, and some sides. All together, the total came to just over $100. The pizzas were really really good, I saw the guys making the pizzas in the wood burning oven at the front. That being said, the other dishes I ordered really left a lot to be desired. I ordered two rigitoni bolognese $18 each) it tasted fine but the portion was really small and not worth it. The grilled calamari was not edible. It had a horrible fishy smell and I don't think the squid was fresh. The mixed green salad resembled the pre packaged store bought salads, except, a few sliced cherry tomatoes were thrown in. It too was not edible as there were a bunch of rotten leaves in the salad making it soggy and mushy. If you stick just to the pizza here, you should be fine. I would pass on the rest of the menu.
