The Rail Yard Tavern - Fair Lawn

This is a fantastic spot for a quick meal. The prices are quite reasonable, and while the service can be inconsistent, the food is always delicious.

So first off if I could leave a negative rating I would, ive been there a few times for uber pick up and so has my girlfriend and we considered going there because it seemed like a nice environment until today, she went in to pick up an order and was waiting patiently in a chair when a grumpy old man that handles the uber orders reaches over her and says get out of my chair with and attitude and proceeds to be very disrespectful and rude, never before have I seen such poor customer service and show such disrespect. I will be sure to spread the word to everyone I know to tell them not to go here or to order uber from here again. I will go out of my way to put a bad name out there for them because of the way she was treated. The man that handles the uber orders should be fired. Once again one of the worst experiences ever and I’ll be sure to never return and to tell everyone I know to never go there .

This is a great family friendly local spot for dinner. The Owner and the staff are extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable especially with those who have Gluten Allergies. They have a large selection of Gluten Free options and a separate menu. This is our favorite family spot. The kids love coming here.

What a terrible experience. The waitress seemed unaware of the sale prices displayed right outside the restaurant and refused to honor happy hour prices unless we were seated at the bar. She rarely checked in on our table, and we often had to seek her out. Additionally, she could use some training in manners and attitude. Given this experience, it will be a long time before I consider returning.

My wife and I dine here frequently. The sliced steak sandwich is incredible and always cooked to our liking—rare. It's definitely one of the best around. The thin crust pizza is fantastic as well. I really enjoy the Thai chili calamari and the salads too. The drinks are excellent, and the value is great. The only downside is that it can get quite noisy in the restaurant area when it's crowded.
