Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI've dined here a couple of times, and each time, the food portions were generous and comforting; their lumpia is the biggest I've seen. This place is decorated with many objects reminiscent of the Philippines, and they provide friendly service. Last time, I bought some desserts to take home, and everyone loved Ube Cheese Pandesal out of everything I got.
Such a cute little restaurant. I’ve been eating here for 20 years. They have great American breakfast and also Filipino breakfast.
Disappointed. Overpriced, overhyped, and always “running out of food.”I have wanted to go to Fairfax Inn for a long time. I hyped it up to my family and friends, excited to have another Filipino restaurant in the area since there is not a lot in Northern Virginia. However, when we went there on a weekday morning, it wasn't easy to find parking. Once we did find parking, the service wasn't the best. They were not welcoming, we weren’t presented with greetings, nor did they seem excited to serve us. This saddened us because they seemed friendlier to other customers. We ordered breakfast, lunch, and dessert items from the menu. The cassava cake I ordered was warm and good. The rest of our food was missing some things, and when I asked where they were, the server said they ran out. After eating the mediocre food they served us, I tried to order food to bring home to my parents. We’re Filipino, and I knew they’d appreciate Filipino food since they also wanted to try Fairfax Inn. But lo and behold, they also ran out of the specific items I requested and even seemed angry when I asked. I’m not sure what’s going on with this establishment or where the hype even began, but trust me when I say this: it is not worth the drive; take your money elsewhere or buy some ingredients for Filipino dishes you’re craving because I can guarantee that what you make will taste better than what they offered us.In conclusion, they frequently run out of food and are unfriendly, matching the lack of taste and atmosphere. Not worth the visit.
It 's just a diner on the surface , but they have SUPERB Phillipino breakfasts!!
Place feels so much like home. The food definitely matches what your titas/aunties give you when you visit their house. Food tastes authentic, too! The turon tasted so good, and we shouldn’t forget about that large serving of lumpia!Thank you po, titas of Fairfax Inn!
