The atmosphere is inviting, the staff are so friendly and the coffee was great, the bun was light and decadent and delicious. Will definitely be back for more! '<br/ <br/ One Seed has now become our local go to coffee shop. In my opinion it has the best coffee in Lane Cove, no questions asked. It is aromatic and rich without being overly sweet and really fantastic tasting. Every thing we 've ever tasted there is baked to perfection too, if you look in the display window everything is always clean and fresh and spotless and absolutely perfect and the taste echoes that. <br/ <br/ Rina the owner is also seriously the absolute loveliest. We walk in and she always knows just how to do our order! I 'm allergic to strawberries so she always knows to do it without if I have a smoothie. She is so lovely and a testament to the success of her shop. <br/ <br/ We love being regulars and will definitely be back every week without fail!
I love their cakes!. I happen to walk pass by One Seed on their grand opening day. Attracted by the shop's clean and bright interior, I went inside and tried a small sample of their classic Tiramisu cake, liked and I ended up walking away with a whole Tiramisu cake for afternoon tea at a friend's house that day. Everyone complimented on the cake! It was fluffy, light, fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth. The cake was so incredible that a week later I went back to the shop and ordered a birthday cake for my son's 6th birthday. I'm not a big fan of rich cakes, but my boy wanted something chocolaty, after talking to the pastry chef(sorry I forgot his name, he was really nice and patient with me , I decided on a cholate mousse cake. It was a huge success at our BD party! It literally disappeared in 30 seconds after we cut the cake. It was so chocolaty but not too heavy and overly sweet. I had to hide a small piece for myself and later on had it with a cup of black tea, it was just divine! Well, next month it's my birthday, maybe I'll try their cake with rose pedals. :
Delicious cakes. My favourite is the lychee one seed ball. It was very refreshing with my iced lemon tea. I have yet to try all the other cakes on display!<br/ <br/ Also love the little cushioned seats.
Underrated patisserie in the north shore. The cakes and sweets have a real twist of flavours and they are always coming out with new products so there’s always something new to try. Complimentary shortbread biscuit with coffee, that’s a winner already! Glad this little gem is in my neighbourhood.
Have walked past a few times and finally got the chance to walk in. Got the lamington with cream and a snail. The cream was very fresh and the lamington had a nice sponge on it. Place had a few oldies catching up over coffee and cakes. The dessert display is separate to the coffee machine area. Overall, good first visit.
