The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is excellent. The cuisine is original, tasty, beautiful.
I went for the 5-course menu on a Saturday night a few weeks ago and just had to write a review because it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The monkfish with whey was my favorite dish, but all the courses were fantastic. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, the food was amazing, and they had a great wine selection. I really hope this restaurant gets the recognition it deserves because it's rare to find such a top-notch restaurant in a rural setting like this. It's a great addition to Fethard and the surrounding area. Keep up the good work - I'm looking forward to my next visit.
My husband and I recently had lunch at this restaurant and we were both very impressed with the food, decor, and atmosphere. We appreciated the option to purchase local and Irish produce. The cleanliness of the restrooms is important to me when choosing a place to eat, and I was happy to find that they were immaculate and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed two fresh salads with delicious brown bread, especially the beetroot, red cabbage, and seed salad which I will definitely order again. My husband enjoyed their gourmet sausage roll and salads. The fresh produce prepared in the open kitchen was a highlight of our experience. After browsing the local jams, honey, dressings, oils, and wines, I purchased a bottle of Balsamic vinegar which I am now addicted to. The restaurant has convenient parking and we are looking forward to dining there in the evening. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this well-run restaurant.
The food quality was simply excellent. Service is just a little slow when you are on a standard lunch break. Would I return there, absolutely yes!
