Fattoria Santo Stefano - FIUMICINO

I 've been here first time by chance, then I came back many times, outside it looks like a fattoria , there are also games for children in the garden in front of the windows… (I 've been there for dinner… Often there are ceremonials lunches for weddings or other religious family appointments, thus I advice to book in advance… It 's perfect for families and maybe for tourists who want to discover hidden places for Italians far from the center of Rome (not far from Fregene/Maccarese . Owners/waiters are very kind, service is not always the fastest, but food... is very good for the right price! I can 't say I love the mixed starter (some things were average… and it was quite expensive , I rather advise sformato di patate e funghi mushrooms and potatoes flan …: delicious! , gnocchetti ai quattro formaggi (very good and incredibly and tasty at the same time , the Filetto al Pepe Verde (fillet with green pepper … very good, but check it if you like it rare, once it was really too rare… in any case meat and sauce were so good, I didn 't complain… One more thing, don 't go away without trying the dessert, they were all so incredibly good (I tried: tiramisu, creme caramel, crème brulèe… unforgettable!!! you really can 't miss dessert! Then for sure, you 'll go back there! Enjoy!

Had a great lunch. Food very good and fresh. Brilliant for the kids because of a massive garden. Host very accommodating. Highly recommend.

We stayed in this restaurant at lunch on Sunday. Unfortunately the weather was very bad, but we were paid for lunch and courtesy of the staff. Very well. current average price: we say that before, second and contour we spent about thirty euros per head. of course depends on what you eat. but it is worth it:

Clean and excellent cuisine! very kind and very kind staff especially the mythical mimmo or arturito) as I well nicknamed! I recommend it and I will definitely come back!
