Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI wanted to like this place, I really did. But despite having a reservation, we didn't get our food until an hour after arriving. If you have plans for after eating, definitely make your reservation for way sooner than you think you need to. I will say, the salad we got was absolutely delicious. But my main course was disappointing, I got the mushroom ravioli and when it came, it was exactly 5 raviolis swimming in sauce. The sauce did have a good flavor there was just way too much of it compared to the amount of ravioli. Not worth the price. Our waiter was super cool though, shout-out to him.
This was disappointing overall. The service took 15 minutes to just order a drink and get some water, but we overlooked it because the service was good once we got service. The food was so bland though. What I really dislike is the failure of the chef to offer a menu. Everything is up to you to figure out.. the sauce, the pasta, the meat. If I wanted to do all of that I’d just find a recipe to do at home and I’m sure it’d have far more flavor. The Caesar salad was pathetic with a single crouton turned into dust and the cheese had to be from a can instead of fresh grated. All the food was just bland, bland, bland. It’s ok. Sausage was rubbery, pasta from a box, chicken soggy, and sauce had zero flavor. Definitely not worth the $120 we spent! It was a nice touch to offer a free dessert with candles since it was my birthday, and this is something not everyone does. I think it’s a good model for a restaurant but could go a lot farther with a better chef.
We made reservations. The service was extremely slow, the food came out after 90 min one plate at a time. There was 8 of us, one persons order didn’t get put in (they did give it to her to go for free) we made it to our event in the Knick of time. None of us will be back.
This restaurant has great potential, we've dined in a couple of times but there seems to be some hiccups. Food: food is great, there is a slight lack of consistency but the flavors are there. Temperature needs improving, food always seems to come out colder than normal. Price for portions is slightly high, but they do have good quality. Drinks: if they're made correctly they're great, but last night the bartender seemed more concerned with conversations with waitstaff than drinks. Waited 15 minutes for a simple cocktail and was one of two tables sat at the time. Service: lack luster at best. Server had to check to see if items were in at 4:30 (if you open at 4 for dinner, you should know what's not available to sell). Had to ask for refills and napkins several times, she forgot to bring food to the table on more than one occasion. Service was slow considering there were only five tables in the entire restaurant. Management: the male manager has always been friendly and upbeat. Last night there was a female manager that reminded me of a teenager with a cell phone. We were inside for 1.5 hours and she never once was off of her cell phone. Texting and making phone calls, it was always in her hand. She was on social media in the bathroom, standing at the host stand on the phone, walking the dining floor phone in hand. Never once saw any other employee even with a phone in their pocket. Looked very unprofessional to see management walking with a cell phone and in that manner. Location: great location right downtown. Parking is ample and easy to find. All in all, after last night our chances of returning are slim. We were initially excited to finally have and find great Italian food in town. Between the lack of service and mediocre food (last night) it's hard to justify paying the prices to be let down.
The service was terrible. We waited for a server for 15 minutes to just get some water and finally just had to go to the bar to get a waiter. Then were told we needed to get our food in right away because there was a larger party there otherwise we would be waiting for our food (which we did either way). We never got a refill on our drinks, I had to continue to go to the bar to get those. We were also told fresh bread was on the way and when we finally got it, it was like it came out of the fridge. Overall it was not a great first experience.
