We came for an icestock camp and were not familiar with the contrary, but they said that this was the place to stay. at the arrival we were welcomed in the same way that we would have been in a star hotel in london. maifair it is a family business and guide hotel and restaurant that goes the extra mile to ensure that everything is on their needs / expectations. Skaters who are athlete in high quality need special attention to food, rest, etc., and the Kessler team is really drawn for us. they even have a small spa and jacuzzi, which are adjacent to their solarium. what a way to relax after more intense training (or any activity really). for those who want a little quiet, they also have a beautiful library where they can lock in. her restaurant is beautiful and they cook delicious meals. we made it a point during the days to try everything (almost) on the menu. the more delicious that the previous. as they use local products, we even discovered food we didn't know. the trout is taken from the sea and is fresh, and always so good (that comes from someone who does not eat fish). have I mentioned the view of the sea (lago smeraldo)? when they have eat or coffee, on their terrace, they are directly above the lake. the clear, the lighting and the noises are incredible. it was a real joy to stay in this hotel and I sincerely hope to visit them again soon. highly recommended!
After couple hours walking from fondo, through the canyon and around the lake, this is the perfect place for a chill out with a view to die for. Not the cheapest in fondo for food and drinks, but you will always get a warm reception...from the staff here. Hopefully you'll get one of the window tables where you will get a view of the entire lake We went in February when it was very quiet but I imagine this bar restaurant will get really busy during the summer months due to its location.
After another long and extremely cold walk through canyon rio sass and around the frozen lake this restaurant is a very welcome sight. Had a very enjoyable coffee and panini here whilst watching the locals diving under the ice through the window. Very pleasant staff...but waitress engrossed in conversation with her colleague so we had to wait to order. Food and drink very tasty but expensive coffees and panini's was euros.
We call in here for coffee or ice-cream on our walks around the Lake, up the Canyon, or through the woods. We always get a warm welcome from this family run business.
