It's a nice little dune feeling with all the good food you can imagine. I forgot the name of my waitress, but she was very professionally very nice and for her job I had to wait for nothing. I'm pretty sure it's a family business and everyone worked well together. I would recommend you try this place.
I don't know why I haven't checked Louie yet! We've been coming here for years and we love their food. We love it so much that when we are 45 minutes away, we still come here for special treat days. Her Texas Skillet is AH-MAZE-ING and her butter is delicious (random, I know). If you are somewhere near Forest Park, you have to stop in this sweet diner and try their delicious dishes. Her staff is also super friendly and everyone here is treated like a regular one.
My Uber driver, Amelia, has proposed this place so that we are redirected here. I'm glad. The atmosphere and music was nostalgic 60s. Nancy, the host, was perfectly detailed. Thank you. I'm back.
Start the 1st with the Hostess cashier greeted with a smile and a welcome before we were completely inside hardly down before we were offered coffee water then our waiters came over our order food came hot and the specifications we asked. Eating was great beautiful neighborhood spot she welcomed the regular customers with names that was quite cool. No complaints here can not wait to go back Food is delicious
The best thing about this place is Nick the owners son. He is personable to everyone that comes into the restaurant and will make u feel welcome as opposed to some of the servers with their jim crow attitudes. The food is great, extensive breahfast, lunch and dinner menu and punctual. Oh yeah the owner Louie will make u feel welcome as well, if you make eye contact with him as he is working the grill. Have been going there for years and often.
