Beach Street Seafood - Forster

I was extremely disappointed after dining at this restaurant that I have been frequenting for years. The meal we received was terrible and inedible, prompting us to call and inform the staff right away. We were told to return for a replacement meal, but upon our return, we were accused of trying to get free food by the owner. Despite our loyalty to the restaurant, having attended every Friday for years, we were asked to never return due to alleged rudeness towards the staff, which we strongly deny. The owner claimed his staff had reported our behavior, but we suspect that they may have been covering for each other. Overall, the lack of customer service and the entire experience was a major disappointment. Beware if you encounter any issues with your meal at this establishment.

This restaurant offers excellent fast seafood options for takeout or dining in. I visited for lunch and enjoyed the crumbed crab claws and Fish Chips, both of which were delicious. Despite being deep-fried, the food tasted very fresh. The service was fast and efficient, although not extremely friendly due to the busy atmosphere. I appreciated that the meals were accompanied by lemon wedges without having to request them. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant with exceptional service and delicious fish and chips. The calamari rings were juicy and the fish was flavorful. The outdoor seating with a view definitely deserves a 5-star rating. We will definitely return. I highly recommend this place.

My wife is gluten intolerant so it was great to find gluten free seafood readily available. Recommended by a friend who’s wife is also gluten intolerant. The fish was a good size and not too bad. A little greasy for my wife’s taste. The chips were a disappointment. Soft, greasy and really not very good. Had much better elsewhere. I doubt we’d return.
