Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe visited this restaurant on Sunday night with my wife and our two daughters. The service was exceptional, and the girls' meals were just right. Our dinner was among the best I've ever had. My wife's ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, and I enjoyed a whole roasted stuffed spiny lobster. The presentation was stunning, and we will definitely be returning whenever we can. This place is outstanding. Be prepared for a wait for your food, as the kitchen is small, but it's absolutely worth it. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!
From what I hear, this is a fun place to be on special occasions like New Year?s Eve and the Christmas boat parade, so I stopped by to check it out on a normal week day. There is a small covered patio-style outdoor seating area that offers a view of thewater and bridge with a dirt parking lot in between. Indoors seemed to be a mixture of local watering hole and favorite lunchspot, pretty packed for a Tuesday afternoon. It?s a lot more casual than I expected. The service was excellent! The food was aswell, no complaints. I had the tuna sashimi and a ginormous slice of peanut butter pie, which was insanely delicious! I havemixed feelings, because it felt like a very casual beach bar with higher end food and service. My reviews of waterfrontrestaurants lean pretty heavily on the atmosphere and the view, and I felt it was lacking a bit in those areas, thus the 4-starrating. Next time I?ll leave my expectations behind and I?ll just enjoy the friendly service and the food. If I lived closer,I?d try everything on the menu at least twice.
Our first Lunch at 12A buoy was terrific. Cozy restaurant with nice outdoor space. Food was delicious. Had the Burrata, Conch Fritters, Fried Oysters and fish special sandwich. Prices were reasonable. Great, friendly service. We went at 1:30 and got atable, but it was very full?.popular spot! We will go back.
Once the food arrived, we found it to be absolutely delicious, though you should be prepared for the wait. We started with the lobster mac and cheese, which was exceptional—crispy and golden brown on top, with creamy lobster bits mixed throughout. This appetizer was more than enough for two people. We also ordered the fried shrimp dinner and the offshore pasta, both of which were excellent. The pasta came with clams, scallops, and fish, all perfectly cooked in garlic and olive oil, served over a bed of pasta with a piece of crusty bread that was perfect for soaking up the flavorful garlic sauce. We didn’t have room for dessert, but we were very satisfied with our meal. Be prepared for a wait, but rest assured, it is well worth it!
I visited this restaurant today after hearing so many great things about it for years. I don’t know why I never gave it a chance before, especially since I’ve lived nearby. I finally had to try the lobster mac and it certainly did not disappoint. The restaurant was busy, so our meals took a while to arrive, but that’s expected and mentioned on the menu. I also had a half-dozen oysters and the black fish sandwich, which featured a delicious cheese gratin. Everything was amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items from the menu.
