Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI usually always go to the kapolei location but I stoped by here in Honolulu and was sad my food was room temp :
Came by today for a kouign amann and sat inside to enjoy it between running errands. I've grabbed them out in Aina Haina and they were always okay but this one was so awful. It was stale and soggy, and just not enjoyable to eat at all. I had 2 bites, thought about taking it home, and decided it wasn't worth it. Chucked it in the trash before leaving. $1 tip for a $5.28 disappointment. If baked goods are what they're known for, I'm glad I didn't order any food.
Bought a wagyu melt. I thought it would be a burger melt. It was like a roast beef melt. Tasty. Also had the freties. Delicious.
Food is always tasty, and the service is good. Just by looking around, the floors could have been kept cleaner. Parking: There is a lot of parking, however, it's always full. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be difficult as there xan be a lot of traffic.
The food was very good overall, especially the pastries and macarons. We ordered crispy grilled cheese, Waygu melt and the french dip sandwiches. The grilled cheese and waygu melt were great. The french dip was not as good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was a little unkept (we had to request a table wipe off) and the restroom was dirty.
