My Luann plate (half portion) baked almandine fish was very good and generous on the amount. Veggies were great. Son had chicken fried steak: it was okay. This is comfort food.
Can't go wrong with the liver and onions at Luby's! #Delish
Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and red beans. Awesome.
Ordered to go meals and picked them up. Ordered pea salad, online but there was none so they substituted without asking. Had to request a different substitution, because what they offered was inedible for me. Wish they mentioned add-ins to the pintos, as I am allergic to onion. I knew to pick it out of the dressing, but was unpleasantly surprised to find it in the beans, too. Corn, green beans, broccoli and cheese, mac and cheese were great, spinach, not so much so. Entrees were well seasoned and prepared. Chicken fried steak was delicious gravy plentious, turkey was plump and juicy, dressing was creamy and the gravy for them was spot on for flavor! Jalapeno cornbread and regular cornbread were surprisingly bland, could have used a bit of salt. Surprising since I never add salt to anything I cook but eggs. Usually the baking powder gives enough salt for me in homemade cornbread. Sizes of the dishes were large enough to enjoy and have a bit leftover for later, too. Will definitely be back!
Excellent food. I sure wish Luby’s would come back to Midland, Tx. Chicken fried chicken was very tasty. Macaroni is always a must. Mash tatters and brown gravy hit the spot.
